IDK if there is bad blood between this dude kessler and AV from his days in Vancouver, but since we got to the cup you think that is enough for him to change his mind? i know he has previously said he wouldn't come here due to AV but since we went to the cup maybe he changed his mind?, idk Anybody know why him and AV don't get along? didn't really pay much attention to vancouver in the past. Anyways, Since the 3 are thorton, stansy and this guy kessler, i dont really see much else in the C catergory, unless theres a trade Thorton would fit us in size but hes never done anything in the post season he is on the decline he is getting old making a lot of money stansy is just not good enough IMO for that 7 mil he is asking for. I rather not make a move then make a bad one just like richards, be patient, even if thats start the season without making a move and trade for one in the season you never know these days
I think the whole AV/Kesler thing is overblown, but maybe they still have issues. I'd be willing to bet he'd come here.
I understood that kessler changed his mind and said he would come to the rangers before the last trade deadline. I agree with sleep man and would rather not make a bad free agent signing which we always seem to do. stasny def not worth the money he's looking for. Wish slats would make a reverse of the trade he made with the rangers giving us a young adam graves and get us a young adam graves type at center. The place I'm hoping slats is watching is colorado and see how bad the blood is with oreilly who would be great here at 23. If they trade him you figure it will be to an eastern team and time for slats to work his trade magic.
