    Trade #1:

    To Cleveland-
    Andre Miller
    Luke Babbitt
    Greg Oden

    From Cleveland -
    Maurice Williams
    Anderson Varejao

    Trade #2:

    To Minny -
    Rudy Fernandez
    LaMarcus Aldridge

    From Minny -
    Kevin Love
    Jonny Flynn

    New Look:

    PG's
Mo Williams, Jonny Flynn, Patty Mills, Johnson

    2Guards:
    BRoy, Matthews, Elliott Williams

    Small Forwards:
    Batum, Cunningham

    Power Forwards:
    Kevin Love, Varejao

    Centers:
    Camby, Pryzbilla

Trade deadline still holds the chance of moving Pryzbilla for a chance to draft high and/or trade for a young Center prospect.

Time to blow it up and rebuild with younger players and some depth -

You MUST rebuild while fielding a team that can win. Otherwise the fans leave and you stay in the "rebuilding mode" for years.

I honestly have given up on LaMarcus (whimp, plain and simple. trade him while you can! he's not going to get any better than what we see now. Any arguments? share them!); Same with Oden. The kid is done in Portland. Send him home to Ohio - (Cleveland can gain from the P.R. while they go through years of building in the post-James era). And Miller, as much as I like the guy, has to be moved while he is an asset.

Bring in Mo Williams and Jonny Flynn and let the two battle it out as to who will be our PG of the next three years. Roy's knees? Not much we can do. Let's just hope that with Matthews, Roy can play less minutes. But no point having Roy out on the court if he's just going to dog it and/or simply be a jump shooter. His contract cannot be moved now, so Roy remains a Blazer.

We have to see if Batum is going to be the real deal or not. Only way to tell is to start him at the 3 and give him minutes...with Cunningham providing back-up for the time being.

And with Love and Varajao, we'll have two hustlers playing the 4. When was the last time we could say that about our 4 position?

Finally, (like most all other teams in this league) we'll be weakest at the 5. Only because of Camby's age and Pryzbilla's health. But hang on to Pryz for the season (if the team is play-off bound) or trade his expiring for a young prospect at the 5 plus a good draft pick.

This is a vast improvement over what we now have. We have to come to some realizations: A). What we see with LMA is what we are going to get! B). What we see with Oden....is what we will ever get. C). Roy's contract is too prohibitive to move, so he remains a Blazer; D). Get rid of Rudy while he is an asset; E). same for Miller.

No chance in hell Minny trades Love for LMA, let alone Flynn for Rudy.

cleveland is the perfect trading partner. its kinda like the shareef deal for sheed. fits our immediate needs and gets us quality back while we keep winning. in this case the pieces fit better then shareef did.

I think they'd dump Flynn in a heartbeat, but he'd never play here.

He's minny's 3rd best PG behind Ridnour and Telfair.

Love is not available for anyone we have.

i bet its possible if we put batum in there but giving up LMA and Batum for him would be a bit too much imo. plus if we traded batum and rudy wed have a sausage fest at games from then on....
