    Surprised a little bit at the timing, but not surprised he stepped down before the season.

    Bad timing. The Ducks roster and schedule lends itself to a BCS/National Title run this season. Belotti stepping down now jeopardizes that. No offense to Chip Kelly, but Belotti sticking around for one more season and hopefully retiring with the BCS totle trophy would have been preferable.

    Oregon is going to be good next year, but no way do they win a BCS Title over Florida/Texas/Oklahoma...

    I wonder if this will have any effect on the recruitment of Bryce Brown. Supposedly he has a great relationship with Chip Kelly, and who knows, maybe that will sway him a little bit more?

    Anyone know when he has to announce anyways?

    Hopefully Chip brings in a new D coordinator!
