Ben once again saves the day for the Bulls. The bobcats led the majority of the game but in the last 4 minutes the bulls went on a run whith pargo hitting two threes in a row to give chicago a 3 point lead. with 1min left the bulls led by 3 then the bobcats hit and easy layup to bring it to one. then ben gordan hits a big 3. to bring the lead to 4 then the bobcats hit a 3 to get the lead down to 1. with seconds left gordan hit another monstrous 3 over the cats & footer to ice the game.

    Bulls win 99-102

Ben Gordon is my hero. 35 points in 23 minutes off the bench for the rook. He's faced off against good friend and former UConn teammate, Emeka Okafor. Both had solid games but Gordon was huge. Pargo seemed to have a big game as well off the bench, dropping 16 in 26 minutes. He had 5 PF's...I haven't seenmore than 6,7 Bulls games this season, but why would he get more PT than Gordon game? Gordon could handle the backup point duties, it's not like he hasn't played it before. Pargo isn't a true PG either. Oh well, a victory is a victory. Gordon and Emeka are battling it out for ROY (see sig) and BG is looking like the leading candidate for the 6th man. Go Ben (I'm not a Bulls bandwagon fan so I'm not saying Go Bulls).

It seems Curry is needed more then Hinrich.

Good to see Luol Deng play after being injured the other day.

Pargo is less turnover prone the Ben, and part of it was that Gordon came out in the 1st quarter with 2 fouls.

AMAZING game by Ben. That was one of the greatest individual fourth quarter performances I have seen in quite awhile, wow.

On another note, the Chandler ejection was bogus. They should have just called a double T on both Knight and Chandler, rather than remove both from the game, it wasn't even a real fight [IMG]

Yep After that second three even Ben had to laugh because it was over a guy almost a foot taller. And about that fight Knight was trying to trip Chandler while they were battling for the ball he scissored tysons leg. then after that got up and elbowed him in the stomach. and it was all out of the frustation of a season full of L's. but thats just how i saw it.

Wow, just amazing what Gordon has done. Without his 21 games of scoring double digits in the 4th quarter I'm sure we'd be around .500 instead of 8 games above. Not much can be said anymore, Gordon is just simply insane. What he's doing would be special for any basketball player but the fact that he's a rookie makes it all the more crazy.

without Ben the Bulls would be much lower than .500. Gordon really looked tonight as if he wanted that ROY award. He is very clutch in games he wants. Like last year from the Big East Tournament on he was just on a tear. If he could find a way to play at that highest level all the time.......it would be scary

I can't remember how many of his 21 double digit 4th quarter games were close to where his performance determined the outcome like with this game. I think he will figure out how to play at that level consistently but it's hard to say when that will happen.

Ben Gordon proved once again last night why he is deserving of both 6th Man and ROY. His performance in the fourth was sensational, and his performance for the game was just as amazing. 35 points in just 23 minutes is not something that you see people doing everyday. Without Ben, I don't see the Bulls winning last night, and I also see a lot more Ls on their record also.

I'm so glad the hype I gave Ben when he was at uconn has been legit. He was clutch in the tourament last year and was the main reason his team became national champions. Okafor was of course a big factor but Gordon came up with huge performances through the sweet 16 and elite 8 when Emeka was struggling with that back injury. He basically carried his team to wins.

when people say that Ben Gordon is the most clutch rookie ever, It's hard to put an arguement togeather that he isn't.
