This is, as far as I can find, Ben Gordon's first fine of his career. If Gordon is getting fined, than the team is going to crap. And Vinny could have been the one who started cussing first. Regardless, Vinny needs to go. He is not worth keeping. Derrick Rose has regressed under him, and now he is picking fights with the team's best player, who doesn't have a contract past this year. Strong arming Ben Gordon into a situation where all he will be offered is the MLE is the worst possible situation for the Bulls. Gordon would probably just sign with Cleveland/Orlando, and make those teams even better.
I'd like to know what the fine was for and how it was delivered. Sounds pretty messed up by most all parties. But mostly just laughable that Vinnie was talking about respect and then seen getting cursed out. Especially by a guy who's been absolutely quiet and mild-mannered for 5 years.
The fine was delivered on a piece of paper. Gordon walked up to Vinny with the paper in hand. I'd imagine Vinny left it in his locker.
KC on CTL clarified that Gordon was just cursing in general ("What the fuck? I'm getting fined?") and not cursing at Vinnie ("What the fuck you flaming ***got!? You're fining me you little bitch!") - Some might notice the particular example curse there being famously one of the many Michael Jordan once used to usher along Kwame Brown's development into the perennial all-star he is today.

It's hard to tell. Noah, Thomas, and Hughes were fined. It's presumed Gordon was fined for that because he has publicly talked about eating peanut butter and jellies in the locker room, and it was rumored by Hoops World that there were 5 players involved, and not the original 3 reported. Whatever Gordon was fined for, odds was it was unfair, and probably stupid as well. Hopefully they put a kibosh on the Vinny experiment soon. Let Bickerstaff or Harris finish out the year, and then bring in Avery Johnson, Jeff Van Gundy, etc. An experienced coach who the players will respect.

Gordon was fined for missing a flight deadline. Gordon said he didn't miss the deadline and that Vinny is making up bullshit essentially. I'll take Gordon's word over Vinny, because as D'Antoni said, Vinny is a backstabber.
