Cincinnati Bengals center Kyle Cook left Sunday’s game against the Denver Broncos with an ankle injury and is not expected to return, according to Bengals beat writer Joe Reedy of the Cincinnati Enquirer. He was replaced by Reggie Stephens—who was drafted in the seventh round of this year’s draft out of Iowa.

Cook is entering his third season with the Bengals after he joined the team in 2007 as a member of the practice squad. He was a key part to the success of the offensive line in 2009 and started all 16 games for Cincinnati. The Bengals re-signed Cook to a one-year deal in April, so this could be a contract year for the former Michigan State standout.
