<span style="font-family:Arial">It's always the athletes.. He thinks just because he's in the NFL he can get away with it, which is probably true, but also pretty sad. Taylor did the same thing, and now is facing up to 46 years, good thing his isn't that harsh.</span>

I've heard Henry could be cut or traded, I would think they'd cut him because they will probably get nothing for him. And they did just sign a fellow Pats WR to a 2 year deal, hint hint. Look at the topic.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Sirius NFL Radio reports Bengals WR Chris Henry has been arrested for operating a vehicle under the influence.Henry reportedly failed a series of field sobriety tests and was subsequently charged with OVI. Already going on trial for a felony gun charge August 21, recovering from a knee injury, and accused in May of "an alleged crime of a sexual nature," the second-year wideout is doing his best to become the next Lawrence Phillips. Oh, Henry pled guilty to marijuana possession in March too.</div>That was his big problem leaving West Virginia, his attitude and actions. Some people just never change.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Bengals coach: Henry, Nicholson arrests disgrace teamAssociated PressCINCINNATI -- Cincinnati Bengals coach Marvin Lewis said Wednesday that he let two players know they've disgraced the team with their off-field legal problems."I told the people that yes, you embarrass us as an organization, myself and the coaches when these things occur," Lewis said of rookie linebacker A.J. Nicholson and second-year receiver Chris Henry. "Right, wrong or indifferent, there are certain things that you're asked not to be a part of or around."Lewis insisted, however, that the recent arrests of Nicholson and Henry -- Henry's third arrest within seven months -- aren't distractions to the team as it prepares for summer mini-camp next week."We'll move forward and move on, and they'll be dealt with as they are allowed to be dealt with," Lewis said after players gathered for a voluntary practice.Nicholson, 21, is charged with grand theft and burglary, both felonies, in a break-in at a former Florida State teammate's apartment in Tallahassee, Fla. He was the Bengals' fifth-round draft choice this year.Henry, 23, drafted in the third round last year from West Virginia, is recovering from a January knee injury. He was charged Sunday in nearby Clermont County with speeding and drunken driving. He also faces trial Aug. 21 in Orlando, Fla., on a concealed weapon charge following a January incident in which police say he pulled a pistol on a group of revelers.Henry pleaded guilty in March to marijuana charges from a December arrest in Kentucky, avoiding jail time after completing a drug rehabilitation program."That bothers me when someone doesn't quite understand social laws," said Lewis. "That bothers me, no question."</div>http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2474743"tis what you get when you draft known troublesome players"

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>New charges against Bengals WR Henry Click here to find out more!NFL.com wire reportsCOVINGTON, Ky. (June 14, 2006) -- Bengals wide receiver Chris Henry was charged with providing alcohol to three underage females, his fourth arrest in the last seven months.Henry, 23, surrendered to Kenton County authorities on three misdemeanor counts of unlawful transaction with a minor and posted $2,500 bond. He could get up to a year in jail and a $500 fine on each count if convicted. Henry will be arraigned June 15, the prosecutor's office said.Henry was charged June 4 in nearby Clermont County, Ohio, with speeding and drunken driving. He also faces trial Aug. 21 in Orlando, Fla., on a concealed weapon charge involving allegations that he pulled a pistol on a group of revelers in January. He was previously prosecuted in Kenton County for a December arrest on marijuana charges, pleading guilty in March and avoiding jail time after completing a drug rehabilitation program. The latest charges grew out of an investigation into an 18-year-old woman's initial claim April 30 that Henry sexually assaulted her at a hotel. Police said she changed her story, and they charged her with a misdemeanor account of filing a false police report. The woman was one of the females to whom Henry is alleged to have provided alcohol. The others are 15 and 16, authorities said.Assistant Kenton County Attorney Kenneth Easterling, noting Henry's series of arrests, said authorities are still investigating and could file additional charges against him or others."Criminal justice is to impose accountability, to get people to either quit offending the law or rehabilitate them. Obviously, his recidivism is of concern to the Commonwealth," Easterling said. The Bengals declined comment."We just don't feel it's appropriate to comment on these things when they are in a state of just being charges," spokesman Jack Brennan said. "We'll await a resolution."Coach Marvin Lewis expressed concern about Henry's continued problems."That bothers me when someone doesn't quite understand social laws," Lewis said. "That bothers me, no question."Henry, drafted in the third round last year out of West Virginia, is recovering from a knee injury. He emerged last season as the Bengals' No. 3 wide receiver.A message was left with his attorney, Robert Lotz.</div>http://www.nfl.com/teams/story/CIN/9498258He's facing new charges now...

Henry ordered to avoid Alcohol, Minors<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Henry ordered to avoid alcohol, contact with minorsBy Len PasquarelliESPN.comCincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chris Henry, arrested on Wednesday for the fourth time since December, was ordered Thursday morning to avoid alcohol and all contact with minors during an arraignment in which the second-year veteran pleaded not guilty to three counts of unlawful transaction with a minor.Chris HenryHenryThe stipulations were made by Kenton (Ken.) District Court judge Douglas Grothaus, a court spokesman said Thursday afternoon, as a condition of Henry's bond.Henry was released from the Kenton County, Kentucky jail early Wednesday evening on $2,500 bond and he faces a June 29 pretrial hearing on the charges. If he violates the conditions established by Judge Grothaus, Henry faces the possibity of having his bail revoked. The arrest warrant issued on Wednesday morning claims that Henry provided alcohol to three women all under the age of 21. One of the women is identified as Monica Beamon, 18, and the others are cited as unnamed 15- and 16-year-olds. The criminal affidavit charges that all three women were in Henry's car when he provided them alcohol, with the knowledge that all were under the legal drinking age of 21.Henry, 23, turned himself in late Wednesday afternoon, accompanied by his attorney, Bob Lotz of Covington, Ken., after the arrest warrant was issued. The wide receiver faces up to a year in jail, and a $500 fine, if convicted of the charges. Already under scrutiny by the league because of his three past arrests in the last six months, Henry could also face tougher sanctions now under terms of the NFL personal conduct policy. The alleged incident occurred on April 29. On the morning of April 30, Covington Police were called to a local hotel, where Beamon told investigators that Henry had raped her. Based of inconsistencies in her story, and a follow-up investigation, it was determined no rape had taken place and Henry was not charged with any crime at the time. An arrest warrant for Beamon was issued on Wednesday morning, charging her with filing a false police report. As of early Thursday, she had not been located.Henry most recently was charged with speeding and drunken driving earlier this month. In that incident, Henry registered a blood-alcohol content of 0.092 on a breath test and was clocked at 82 miles per hour in a 65-mph zone, said Sgt. Craig Cvetan, a State Highway Patrol spokesman. Kentucky's legal limit is 0.08.Henry was charged in January with pulling a pistol on a group of revelers in downtown Orlando. He pleaded not guilty to a charge of carrying a concealed weapon and is set for trial Aug. 21.He avoided jail time on marijuana charges from a December arrest in Kentucky after pleading guilty and agreeing to enter a drug rehabilitation program.Henry had 31 catches for 422 yards and six touchdowns as a rookie last season, when he developed into the Bengals' No. 3 receiver behind Chad Johnson and T.J. Houshmandzadeh. The league typically does not levy sanctions against a player until due process has run its course. Bengals officials, citing franchise policy, have declined comment on Henry's mounting off-field problems. Coach Marvin Lewis did acknowledge last week, however, that incidents involving Henry and rookie linebacker A.J. Nicholson, who is facing burglary charges in Florida, have brought "embarrassment" to the team.Lewis charged both young players with "some poor decisions, some poor associations with people and some selfishness."Additional charges against Henry in his latest case are possible, Kenton County attorney Ken Easterling said, because the investigation of the incident is still open."The bottom line," Easterling said, "is that Mr. Henry's conduct [was]inappropriate, and he has been charged criminally. . . . Sports figures are not above the law."Len Pasquarelli is a senior NFL writer for ESPN.com. Vandalism is punishable by up to six months in jail. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Trial date set for troubled Bengals WR HenryBy Len PasquarelliESPN.comIn what could be his first of several court dates in coming months, Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chris Henry, arrested in mid-June for the fourth time since December, will stand trial on Sept. 26 on three counts of unlawful transaction with a minor. The trial date, which comes just two days after the Bengals face the Pittsburgh Steelers in the third game of the 2006 season for the bitter AFC North rivals, was set by Kenton County (Ky.) District Court Judge Douglas Grothaus, who had presided over the earlier hearings in the latest legal entanglement involving the troubled wide receiver.Henry, 23, is free on $2,500 bond. As part of his release, Henry was ordered last month to avoid alcohol and to have no contact with minors. If he violates those conditions, his bond would be revoked and Henry would be jailed. He faces up to a year in jail, and a $500 fine, if convicted of the charges. The arrest warrant in the Kenton County case claims that Henry provided alcohol to three women all under the age of 21. One of the women is identified as Monica Beamon, 18, and the others are cited as unnamed 15- and 16-year-olds. The criminal affidavit charges all three women were in Henry's car when he provided them alcohol, with the knowledge that all were under the Kentucky legal drinking age of 21. The alleged incident occurred in Covington, Ken., just across the Ohio River from Cincinnati, on April 29.After a productive rookie year, Henry has been unable to avoid off-field problems in the offseason. On June 3, Henry was arrested and charged with speeding and operating a vehicle under the influence (OVI), and registered a blood alcohol reading of .092 in a breathalyzer test. The legal limit in Ohio is .08. The speeding charge is a minor misdemeanor and the OVI charge is a first-degree misdemeanor.Henry faces a felony gun charge in Florida stemming from a Jan. 29 incident in which he allegedly possessed a firearm outside an Orlando nightclub. Henry is charged with possession of a concealed firearm in that incident, a third-degree felony in Florida, punishable by up to five years in prison and a $5,000 fine. Two other charges from that incident, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and improper exhibition of a weapon, were dropped. In December, the former West Virginia University standout was arrested in Covington and charged with possession of marijuana. Henry pled guilty to the charge to avoid jail time, paid a fine of $250 and agreed to spend 28 days in a drug rehabilitation program, a stipulation which he has already completed. Each of the incidents was enough to subject Henry to NFL scrutiny and he could face league sanctions, including possible fines or a suspension, under terms of the personal conduct policy.A third-round choice in the 2005 draft, and the 83rd player selected overall, Henry appeared in 14 games as rookie, started five times, and had 31 receptions for 422 yards and six touchdowns.Len Pasquarelli is a senior NFL writer for ESPN.com.
