Whatever... good luck I guess. The guy was a pretty big disappointment for me last year. He never delivered anything when he got playing time, which was fairly often considering our starters were on the bench in the second half of most of our games.

in fairness he was handing it off to Marshall, and throwing to Addison, BJ Kelley, and had backups blocking for him. GOod backups, but not exactly DAT, KB, and co.

You are right Wheels, but he was playing against some pretty horrible competition in those games.

maybe so, but I dont recall many times where opposing coaches threw in the towel nba style and went with all backups while being blown out. So Thats still the same competition that Mariota, DAT, KB, and co played against. But Bennett had to do the same with more raw teammates. Plus he looks worse when compared to how good Mariota was :p

The ducks should have converted him to WR.

They might have tried. Maybe that's the reason why he's transferring.

He also never practiced with the first or second team. I think he would have done a plenty good job if had been named the starter, but Mariota did an outstanding job.

    I wish him well.

Bennett looked terrible this year as a QB. He literally looked like a player from another position that was thrust into the qb job as an emergency. Maybe he was pressing or whatever, but he was bad.

Maybe he'll turn out like that other guy that left us because we wanted to convert him into a WR, well, he ends up being a WR anyway with Kansas State and will probably go to the NFL because of it.

    Wisen up Bryan Bennett.
