<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Perception turned into reality for Cedric Benson, whose fumble with 30 seconds left in the third quarter killed a Bears drive Sunday night against the Cowboys.

Trailing 17-10, the Bears were advancing toward a tying score when Benson had the ball ripped from his grasp by Remi Ayodele and recovered by safety Roy Williams.

Benson did not return in the fourth quarter after his fumble, though coach Lovie Smith said he had not been benched because. But Benson appeared downcast after the game.

"I just felt circumstances called for them to go with A.P. (Adrian Peterson)," Benson said. "[The coaches] didn't say anything to me."</div></p>

What circumstances were that, Cedric? The circumstances that you can't pass block or catch?</p>

Man he really looks terrible, maybe he will volunteer to sit out the rest of the season. Peterson is decent, but its only a matter of time before they give Wolfe a go at RB.</p>

At least Thomas Jones is still on my fantasy team. I really would have liked to see him playing for the Bears yesterday though. [IMG]</p>

Benson's just always struck me as a clown. I don't remember having such a negative feeling about a Bears first rounder in a long time. He gets a lot of comparisons to Curtis Enis, but the truth was Enis blew out his knee and you never really could tell what he could have been after that. Benson's just plain not been good enough for a couple years now and it's pretty obvious the Bears traded the wrong guy.</p>
