What NBA player makes the best in game decisions. In other words what NBA player is the smartest because he makes smart decisions on the court.

I can't think of a single guy who's the best, but some guys who come to mind are Steve Nash, Chauncey Billups and Mike Bibby.

EDIT: I knew there was someone I was missing: Kidd

One of my favorite decision makers is Brevin Knight. He doesn't get as much credit as he deserves for ranking 2nd in assists and 1st in A/T ratio - something else that proves he has great decision making skills. I wonder where the Bobcats would be without someone of his caliber.

Jason Kidd, he is the best PG in the game and can lead any team he is on, being a point guard means you need to lead your team through crunch time and he can do that.

You've got to look at the champs first and think about Duncan, Ginobli and Parker. Kidd is all around great but he's not my choice because his average outside shooting skill limits his choices. I would vote for Duncan because of his skill at passing out from the low post when double teamed or shooting when he knows he has a high percentage shot he can make without forcing. Nash would be my # 2 pick based on his performance last year. I was also impressed with Tracy McGrady's ability to score and pass in the playoffs last year. All three of these guys are unstoppable because they adjust mentally to whatever defense is designed for them.

    Nash and Duncan IMO.

They both are aware of everything ball in hands or not.

Besides the obvious, I'd say Aaron McKie and Eric Snow.
