It's hard not to vote for either Shannon Brown or Rudy Gay in this one but I have to go with Ron Lewis. I mean the dunk alone should get you on SportsCenter let alone a guy threw it off the glass?!? Crazy stuff. Shannon Brown's is a very close second though, I wonder what it feels like when you go to take a charge and the guy just jumps over you. Must feel pretty weird.
I just downloaded that Ron Lewis dunk (thanks for posting it btw), and I was more impressed by the setup than the dunk. The overall play was probably better than Brown's dunk, but Brown went up from further out and over a defender. There wasn't anyone on Lewis, and the bounce off the glass is just like catching an alley-oop pass. I saw the Rudy Gay dunk live, and it was exciting, but everyone saw it coming. Almost all of the defenders cleared out of the way, and Gay sprinted the length of the floor; you knew what would happen. Brown's dunk happened in transition as well, but there were defenders back, and I think most people watching thought he'd pass the ball or get fouled driving in for a layup. I haven't seen the fourth dunk yet though. Does anyone have a link to it?
Brown's dunk was tremendous, and it will probably be the best solo dunk all season. The Ron Lewis dunk I think is the best though, because the toss off the glass really counts as part of the play. I think those will probably be the two best dunks all season. I never even heard about that last dunk on the poll, don't know what it was. But the OSU dunk is only leading it 13% to 10%, hehe. Brown's is 42% and Gay's is 34% right now.
