"Vote for me and all your wildest dreams will come true." Pretty much sums up Romney. And Obama four years ago. (This go-around his argument is more, "Vote for me or all your wildest fears will come true."
Not necessarily an election movie, but My Fellow Americans is one of my all-time favorites. I thought Black Sheep was funnier when it was called Tommy Boy.
I was going to say All the President's Men, is it an election movie? Home sick, got free HBO 2 mohths since DirecTV screwed up for the millionth time, saw Game Changer. No big suprises, but interesting. John McCain clung to some shreds of honor and integrity that are now gone. He would never pal around with birthers.
Crap, I took a course at Cal on Film in America or somesuch and we saw Mr. Smith Goes to Washington. The teacher gave me a bad grade because I disagreed with his interpretation of the film - he saw it as optimistic, I saw it as one honest person (white and male, of course) could not clean up "the system". Not the first or last time that happened in lit type classes. One of the reasons I went into science. In science and math you deal with facts and it's right or wrong.
