10 years ago, i woulda said Jerry Krause. Now, i'm going to say Elgin Baylor. he did everything right, it's just the clippers have a shitty owner, or else they'd be beating alot of teams.....
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting "olskoolFunktitude":</div><div class="quote_post">anyone but chris wallace</div> He will go down in infamy for the Vin Baker deal.
Donnie Walsh for the pacers i may b a lil biased but he traded his allstar dale 4 jermaine. now jermaines an allstar n dales a nobody. but he did make a bad trade............antonio davis 4 j bender......wat was he thinkin?
Donnie Walsh has done an excellent job. I'll be impressed if he can re-sign all his players this off-season. The Croshere deal was a HUGE mistake though. Joe Dumars has also done amazing things. His trades for Cliffy and Barry were highway robbery. Great off-season signing of Billups. No one has an ugly contract either. San Antonio's GM (no clue what his name is and too lazy to find it) has done an awesome job as well. They're a great team, with max money to get even greater in the off-season. They're in the best position in the league.
I would have to say Les Alexander for the Rockets. he drafted Cuttino Mobley, Got Glen Rice for Nothing. Traded for Steve Francis. Signed Yao Ming

Well except for the whole being injured part and the money you gotta pay and that lack of defense. yeah Provides: 1 Leadership 2 3-pt Shooter plus we got rid of shannon anderson
Glen Grunwald - Resigned a large amount of players. Made some trades which were good for the team. Drafts a fantastic player each year. Elgin Baylor - nice trades, and drafts

they have good teams, but theyre doing bad, im just talking about the past, on who they drafted, traded, ect,.
But isn't their job to put together a team that will be successful. They may have loads of talent (Clips, definitely not the Raps), but it means nothing when you don't win. I can't give him credit unless they win. He's not doing his job when they're in the lottery every year.
joe d is doing a good job. clyde the glide: of course he signed yao ming.. anyone with the #1 pick would've signed him lol
vinsanity03 how can your GM be good when he passed on magoire for bradley? if your GM was good enough you guys wouldn't be near the bottom of the east.

If you look in the past of the playuers we've drafted, traded, and signed you would agree. He resigned Vince, Alvin, AD, and JYD which is pretty hard to do.
