Who do you think has the best starting lineup in the Nba currently. I feel the Clippers have def. improved their lineup alot. they have ptoential to go to the playoffs with sam cassell at the point cuttino mobley at sg corey magette at sf elton brand at pf and chris kaman ass C. they also have shaun livingston on the bench . Also the pacers lineup is great as usaul and nobody has been talkin bout the pistons this year but they always have a good lineup. This year will defiently be very interetign because there are alot of teams with excellent llineups oout there, but the question is who has the best ?

The Heat, hands down. I'm really excited to see how they will do, especially the starting lineup. The heat are BEASTLY.

I'm hoping the Nets lineup improves too. We need a better suit for the PF spot. Losing the deal with SAR was a huge loss.

I'd say Miami, Denver and Sacto have very complete lineups. But you also have to look at teams like San Antonio, where there are stars and role players. Sometimes, a team who has a couple of studs and some other average players who know their roles are better than a complete lineup of solid players.

The Spurs seem to have the same players each year i dont know why it seems like that for me.

Oh, yeah, the Miami Heat hands down for me too. They'll be highlighted on ESPN every night. I look forward to JWill blossoming into a really efficent PG(his first few games with the Kings in his rookie season turned heads). The Knicks are the team I m very anxious to see with Coach Brown moving Starbury to the two guard.

This is without a doubt Miami. I except them to take over with their star-studded line-up.

I'm goin with the Pistons. They have no flaws at all and it's a sure bet that that they will make it far into the playoffs again.

Spurs are a close second, but the Center spot is somewhat in question with Mohammed. Can he keep that spot the whole year?

Heat are 3rd. For chemistry reasons they're #3. We have yet to see how they will fare against other teams so it's unfair to say that their lineup is better than a proven starting 5 that has been together for over 1 and a half years. Two years if you remove Sheed from the equation.

San Antonio has a huge lineup. Everyspot is filled except maybe C.
    C-Nazi Mohammed
    PF-Tim Duncan
    SF-Bruce Bowen
    SG-Manu Ginobilli
    PG-Tony Parker

But check out Detroit, theyve got every position filled with great role players. Rip and Ch-Ch-Ch-Chauncey B-B-B-Billups perform great together. Prince is a great do it all man at SF and Wall Of Wallace at the Posts get those blocks, rebounds and points very well.

But Miami! boy its a good lineup!

I'm going with the Pistons. There is too much talent in the Heat's lineup.

The houston rockets would have to be one of the teams up there.. or a close 2nd...

    cuz we would have starting...

    C- Yao
    PF- Swift
    SF- Tmac
SG- Derek Anderson ( when he finally announces it)
PG- Sura (not the best, but good enough)

I think they will, look at the what the suns did with their talent last season. Jason Williams, Dwyane Wade, James Posey, Antoine Walker, Udonis Haslem and Shaquille O'Neal are definitely a talented line of players, and I think they're all level headed except maybe 'Toine so it wont be that hard to get along, Posey probably will be starting over Andre Emmett, and Dorrell Wright. They have a good lineup but a logjam at PF, with Simien, Haslem, and Walker all being good at the position, they should trade one of them to help their bench.

On paper, the Heat lineup definitely takes the cake but if you take the teams chemistry into consideration, then teams like the Pistons and the Spurs come up.

I'd say that the Pistons have the best lineup so far. They've had very good success with the lineup of Billups, Hamilton, Prince and Wallace x2 and it doesn't look like that lineup is going to change anytime soon.

I'm not saying Heat because less shots for Dwayne Wade and Shaq means less wins IMO. I'm going with Spurs on this one, They have a superstar PF/C (best player in the league), a top 6 SG, a good hustle C and great depth behind him if someone takes his job, a very fast great scoring PG, and the best perimeter defender in the league. Everyone plays excellent defense and spreads the ball around and no one chucks up bad shots. They also have great depth, but i dont think we are factoring this into the argument.
