OK, first and foremost, most of the time I'll be watching the Blazers play from the comfort of my home. I'll also watch a handful @ the RG.

That said, what I'd really like to know is, now that I live here, where are the best places (sports bars) to watch the Blazers play....where the viewing is good......where I can root for our team along with other like Blazer maniacs? I could definitely see myself going to said establishment(s) for meaningful games and the like.

    Where would you send me?

    Thanks in advance.

Toms Pizza on Lombard gets a good crowd during Blazer games. I personally like to be a Blazer freak at my own residence so I can be as animated and obnoxious as I want and not annoy anybody. But, thats just me.

I'll be at some games, but as a fan.

That company I was working for was such a sham and the lesbian who runs it is too flakey. I got fed up, I saw a lot of cool shit though, but I don't really need to supplement my income anymore. Plus, after awhile I'd rather be able to watch the game completely without having to worry about babysitting drunk fans.

Macking on hot broads in the front row and kicking it with Chico and Charlie was cool though.

Cheerful Tortoise by PSU is a good place downtown to watch games. I also like The Pit Stop in Beaverton and The Sports Page in Progress.

It's corporate and a bit too clean, but Buffalo Wild Wings on Morrison always has a big crowd for away games, and is packed before games. Then, you just jump on the Max and head over to the RG. Park at the SmartPark for $5.

There's a new place opening up close to the Garden, should be open for the beginning of the season. Called, I believe, Spirit of '77. It's on MLK, 500 NE MLK, I think. Should be a good place to go. Especially for those actually going to the game, finally a place close by to drink before and after within walking distance of the Rose Garden.

    It's all about screen size!

I'll often hit up the Mission Theater when they screen the games

    This should be On-Topic!

The companies multi million dollar luxury suit. Nothing worse than sitting with the general riff-raff.

Ditto. I hate the corporate feel of BWW, but the bottom line is there are fans there, and a shit ton of TV's. You will be able to see the game from anywhere in the restaurant or bar.

I would find the closest strip club that carries the games.

The thing is, riff-raff such as yourself only gets to sit in said suite when somebody else is buyin'....which is rarely.

    ZZzzzzzzzzzzzz.....................................

Because I get a ton of free food (often with our own chef) in the suite, a private bathroom (complete with flat screen TV to not miss the action), soft and wide leather seating, free drinks...

    What's NOT to like???

Don't feel like part of the game. half the people in there aren't even watching or into the team. Fuck that, I want to be with the people!

yes. me going to the game and sitting in the stands is akin to when white folk go to the ghetto to experience some "soul food"!

Luxury suites are WAY overrated for basketball games!
