A Cole?????????????????? Are you being serious? and I'd swap Richards for Steve Finnan

 

I'd take Reina out as well. Massively over-rated keeper. I'd put David James, Marcus Hahnemann or Edwin Van Der Sar (not just because I'm a United fan). Cech, minus the injury, has been underwhelming for the so-0called best 'keeper on the planet.

I'd not have Carragher, Cole or Riise either. None of them have been outstanding enough to warrant a place in the team of the season.

Some say Rooney has had a bad season but he's still bagged 12 league goals and set up 9 league goals for other players. Considering he's more or less an attacking midfielder, that's damn good.
