I honestly don't know enough history to answer that question. It's over my head. If anyone puts down a President from the last 40 years their an idiot.

Bill Clinton is nowhere close to being a top President ever, he didn't really do anything historic...well unless you count what happend under the desk.

Abraham Lincoln. he faced the biggest constitutional crisis every when States begun to succeed. He had to organize an army to invade his own countrymens lands, on top of that he had to deal with incompitant general after incompitant general. He faced some of the largest anti-war rallied ever, he was in a city which was practically besieged. He had to negotitate carefully with foreign nations like France, England and Russia so they wouldn't get involved in the souther inserection. He had to over step the Constitution so far that even today those with a great insight into the law still argue wether it was legal or not, at the same time he did that he also preserved the constitution and this country became one of only a few nations in history to hold a free election in the mist of a civil war. Once the war was nearing its end, he had to find a way to bring back the former Confederate states in a way to "make the feel welcomed, and honored", while at the save time ending the institution of slavery, an institution which brough the south close to 3 billion dollars annually, and which the rest of their entire economy rested.

I think FDR is the best president. He did a lot of things for everyone. He created a lot of programs and services that we use today. He gave many people jobs and helped our economy. He wasn't perfect at all, but he made a noticeable difference in our country, which most presidents haven't done, sadly.Another obvious one is Lincoln. The only reason I wouldn't call him the best is because it's so hard to know what he was really like. All we hear is about how great he was, which makes me wonder. This is not to say that he was a bad person. He did some great things, but it's hard to believe everything when you don't hear any negatives.

I've read alot about Ronald Reagan, and I know a little bit about presidents..I won't say Lincoln because I wasn't alive, and I never really learned anything about him.So I'll say Ronald Reagan!
FDR no question..he took this country out of one of the worst times it's ever faced and established new foundations for the countryand kingjamez..ronald reagan and his administration were pretty much responsible for the crack era in America

Franklin D. Roosevelt...he was president for a long time, but he got us mostly through a huge war, a depression and just simply lead a nation into becoming a superpower. If it wasnt for FDR, we may not have the power we do now(speaking of America of course). Abraham Lincoln was one of the greatest, but do to depression, he may many errors that couldve saved lives.

you can laugh about clinton all you want, but there was mostly peace (compared to most of history) while he was president, crime rate went from the highest ever to the lowest ever, and he gave us a surplus for the first time in 40 years. Just because he got a blowjob doesn't take away his top five status all time. The only thing I didn't like was that he made the democrats veer to the right and lost us the house and senate with some of the stuff that he pushed. But I'd say FDR is the greatest ever.
Give me a break. Clinton is not a top 5 president all time. He benefitted from an economy that was unreasonably inflated due to technology. Tell me how Clinton caused crime to go down and the economy to boom, then I'll consider him a top anything.
Bill Clinton did not do one good thing as president. All he did was make sure he flew to every state in the country and make some sort of speech there. Clinton is and always will be a looser. Hilary Clinton is even worse....

Bill Clinton was President in a very calm time in our history, he didn't have to watch over big wars or have any big legislation come through, but he was one of our best when it came to talking with other countries...and if it weren't for Arafat being a loonytune big progress would have been made with Israel/Palestine. I think he did a good job considering he had to deal with a Republican run leadership. He went against Republicans and with the UN went into Somalia when many others wouldn't...not to mention Serbia. I don't think he's a great all-time President but to say something stupid like that, don't even post in here because you don't know what your talking about.
