Who do you think the best NBA Rebounder was? I think Rodman wins it and Jerry Lucas and Wilt not far behind him.
Rodman easily, then maybe Charles Barkley (for his size especially). Shouldn't this be in Old School?EDIT: and Wade3, he also was rebounding well w/ Detroit and SA, so it wasn't just w/ Jordan.
I think it is Rodman as well. He could pull down 18 boards in a very competitive era. Guys like Wilt and Bill Russell just dominanted the glass because they were against guys who were like 6"5 and they could easily get the board. They didn't have much competition. So that's why I think it is Rodman. I don't think anyone will average even 15 boards again.
haha, Rodman leads league history in 0 point/20 rebounds games. he has seven of them! hahaha :HAHAHA:

I remember watching a game in 1998 and Rodman hit a three for his only points and the United Center just went balistic.
How can you get 20 rebounds and not score? At least some of those must have been offensive, no tips or anything? Doing it 7 times too is incredible.
I believe it was Charles Barkley at 2nd and Dennis Rodam at 1st. Think of it, Barkley averaged 12 RPG at 6'5. That is absolutely incredible. Consider the fact he has 6'10 PFs running at his, trying to elude his box out, and it makes it that much mroe impressive. Rodman was only 6'7, and averaged 13 per game. That also takes into account 2 mediocre years with the Lakers, and in his Prime was a 14+ rebounding threat
It's easily RodmanALSO- Dwight Howard has the potential to become one of the greatest rebounders ever. He is averaging over 12 at the age of 20- he is an amazing athlete, got good strength, and a perfect frame for boxing out.
What about Patrick Ewing, Dikembe Mutumbo, Shaquille O'neal, and Karim Abdul Jabbar...these guys should be not forgottan especially how long Jabbar stayed around doing as good as he did in his older age
In Kareem's last 7 seasons he only averaged around 6rpg compared his 15rpg in his prime. I mean we are talking about rebounders here...and Rodman was in a class by himself, in the modern era he put up 18rpg and he was only 6'6" 220 pounds.
oh, sorry, didn't see that. And no offense, but your avatar looks kinda, uh, odd with the text below it.....
