Not sure if we’ve ever had one of these before. But the GoT thread got me to thinking.

Does the first 7 seasons of The Simpsons count or do you have to include all 345 seasons of crap?

    The Wire
Babylon 5 (which story arc style of writing directly led to shows like The Wire and Breaking Bad. It showed that audiences were intelligent and stories and plot lines didn't need to wrap up at the end of each episode.)

I really liked The Shield when it first aired but for some reason that show did not age well. I tried watching it again a few years ago and stopped after a few episodes.

It is a cartoon but the prime Simpsons is better than any show ever made.

There's no slams in here. Sly is too much of a gentleman to call you out on this but I will.

Sorry, I got carried away from some anger provoked in me by a normally nice guy acting like a jerk over on OLive. I was ready to knock his lights out even though I can no longer do it being that I spend most of my time either in a wheel chair or on the couch or at my computer in a Costco leather swivel chair.

I shoulda put it in quotes. It was a line from the Simpsons that was I think post prime episodes.

It was a chili cookoff and Homer drank some candle wax. He then tried some super spicy chili made by Chief Wiggum.

After casually downing the fiery chili he kinda mumbled that line.

It is hard to describe accurately but it was hilarious

All great shows. I Love Lucy is easy to forget because it is soooo old. And there's a lot of domestic violence jokes. It was still great.
