Bran was a symbolic King, broken and surviving like the city. The real power was Tyrion, like his father had been, he was one of the few who came out OK. He already had compassion, unlike his father, but had to learn humility. Jon never wanted to rule. He seemed at peace with no titles. Agree that last two seasons truncated, although I loved Knight of the Seven Kingdoms episode. And discrepancy in the size of the armies. I could handle that, it was secondary. But I thought handling of Daenerys was essentially misogynist, she slaughtered the city because no one loves her? Seriously?
I enjoyed some of those. You mentioned Wild, Wild West. Do you like Robert Conrad's other series, "Black Sheep Squadron?"
That was an excellent Twilight Zone episode with William Shatner. And I enjoyed reading the short story written by Richard Matheson. They also made the movie version with John Lithgow. Richard Matheson went on to become a prolific writer in Sci Fi and Horror.
