This is a ranking of each division in the NFL. I made this by subtracking divisional wins and loses from overall records to create non-divisional records for each team in the NFL. Then I totaled the records for each division and created a Winning Percentage for each division. Records and Winning Percentages are listed and the divisions are ranked from best to worst by Winning Percentage.</p> <table cellspacing="1" cellpadding="1" width="200" border="1"> <tbody> <tr> <td>AFC South</td> <td>11-2</td> <td>.846</td> </tr> <tr> <td>NFC East</td> <td>13-5</td> <td>.722</td> </tr> <tr> <td>NFC North</td> <td>9-6</td> <td>.600</td> </tr> <tr> <td>AFC North</td> <td>9-8</td> <td>.529</td> </tr> <tr> <td>AFC West</td> <td>7-8</td> <td>.466</td> </tr> <tr> <td>NFC South</td> <td>6-10</td> <td>.375</td> </tr> <tr> <td>AFC East</td> <td>5-12</td> <td>.294</td> </tr> <tr> <td>NFC West</td> <td>3-12</td> <td>.200</td> </tr> </tbody> </table> </p> Is the AFC South truely the toughest division? Is the NFC West realy the weakest? Does this ranking make the Colts undefeated start look more impressive than the Pats considering strength of division?</p>
I don't believe any NFC division is better than any AFC division, but I do agree that the AFC South is the best division in the NFL.</p> Also, welcome to S2 liljuzam</p>
AFC West teams are only good against each other, or so it seems. But I guess the numbers dont lie.</p>
