    His track record was pretty spotty up until about 4 or 5 years ago. This team needs some hardware (or at least come awfully close) before anybody anoints him.

    The problem with the ratings, is that they combine fairly objective criteria (W/L record and front office stability) with touchy-feely stuff ("fan relations" and "team culture").

    When the Blazers were winners, a vocal subset of the fans didn't like the team. Then we went through the PatterNash era where the team sucked mud. One winning season doesn't whipe all that away.

    I'd certainly list George Shinn as among the worst.
