I decided to make a thread where you can discuss what you think was the best trade, free agent signing, release etc for the Nets. After that you name what you think was the worst. I think it can be interesting to see which deals Nets fans think were good and bad. You can state any deal, even if it was 20 yrs ago.

The first deal that was good was when the Nets managed to trade for Julius Erving because he led the Nets to 2 ABA championships and was an overall great player. A second good deal was when the Nets managed to trade Stephon Marbury for Jason Kidd. Marbury had good stats but the Nets kept losing and that when they got Kidd. He lead to them to 2 Nba finals and proved to be the better choice

Two bad deals for the Nets was when they signed Alonzo Mourning. He didn't play much and didn't really contribute. He recieved a lot of money and played only 30 games in two seasons. The second worst trade in my opinion was of Kenyon Martin. They signed and traded him for 3 first round picks. Yes we managed to get Vince Carter but with out Martin the Nets have frontline issues for now.

My was pretty long but that doesn't mean yours has to be.[IMG]
