Alright i don't know if i got ripped off even though i was the one who proposed it and i thought originally i got the better end of the deal, but all my friends who are in my league said i gave up too much except one of em... 1) I got: Amare Stoudamire and two throw in players that I dropped I gave: Antwain Jamison, Grant Hill, Emeka Okafor 2) I got: Brad Miller I gave: Dwayne Wade, Memet Okur And now I have a deal pending in another league, my team in the public league really sucks, but here's the deal, i still have a chance to vote against it, but i doubt other people will help me out.. Sending: Jamal Magloire and Theo Ratliff Recieving: Amare Stoudamire and Jarvis Hayes
Here's my quick takes. 1) In this trade, you're being risky. Usually the person with the best player wins, but you're giving up what should be a 18-8 guy in Jamison and a 12-8 guy in Okafor for a 20-10 guy. Jamison also provides 3's and Okafor is a better blocker than Amare. That's not even factoring Grant Hill, although he potentially could have been a bust anyway. If you had replacements at the F/C/util/wherever you had them on your team though, it's not a horrible trade. 2) The second trade is a good trade. Miller is a great fantasy center (except for an average center, he's a bad shotblocker. Compared to other power forwards, though, he's an average-to-good blocker.) 3) In the public league, you're giving up a ton of blocks. If you've got some backup C's who can provide blocks, or are trading the C's to a guy who's going to kill in blocks anyway, it's not a big deal. I'm not big on Hayes this season (with so many people at the wing on the Wizards), but Amare is a very solid player. While I wouldn't have proposed the trade, you're trading two above average centers for a good (though not great) power forward which isn't totally out the question.

Amare will have a good year, but Jamison will score plenty in Washington, whilst Okafor is eligible at C, and will get a heap of good looks. It would have been fair if you'd pulled Okafor out of it. <div class="quote_poster">Quoting holyace2k2:</div><div class="quote_post"> 2) I got: Brad Miller I gave: Dwayne Wade, Memet Okur </div> Depends on your PG stocks after the deal. On face value i'd rather have Wade and Okur. Miller's numbers will be better than Okur's, but enough difference to justify giving up a top 5 PG?
