1st Round: Indiana Pacers, Washington Wizards, Cleveland Cavaliers, or The Chicago Bulls?

Who's the better matchup for The Celtics? I don't want Cleveland because The Celtics have no answer for Big Z and Lebron is capable of dropping 50 on any given night. The Pacers, healthy, are as difficult a team as any amongst The Eastern Conference, not my first choice. The Wizards havent had much success against Boston, but The 3 Headed Monster of Larry Hughes, Gilbert Arenas, and Antawn Jamison are capable of doing damage in the post season. Also they have several frontline players who are capable of having big nights, Haywood, Etan Thomas, and Kwame Brown.

I say against Chicago, The Celtics have the best chances of advancing. No Luol Deng because of injury, their best players are point guards (Hinrich & Gordon) and we're very deep at that postion and capable of playing strong defense against point guards for the full 48 minutes. Only real problem on that team is Eddy Curry, but I don't see him dropping 30 a night against The Celtics.

My Pick, The Chicago Bulls, lets hope they get that 6th seed!

I'd say Washington. We've beaten them 3 out of the 4 times that we played them this year, with the one loss being in OT. If you take a look at their roster you'll see that none of the major players have had any postseason experience, with the exception of Jamison who played the 6th man role for Dallas last year. I know that's pretty much the case for Chicago as well, but I give the edge to Washington because Chicago had more success against us this season.

    cavs

Right now the Cavs are struggling greatly and they would be the best matchup for the Celtics. The bulls are doing amazing since the new year and the wizards are potent and could play extremely well at any time.

I say that the cavs are a way better matchup for the celtics, thats pressuming they dont fall and give their spot up to the nets

Chicago Bulls? why on earth would you want to play a team that has been 33-15 since that poor start? they have maybe the best clutch 4th quarter player in the league and great size and depth. The Bulls are a team no one will like facing.

Celtics best chance will be against the Cavs who are looking terrible and getting blownout every game lately.

Honestly I don't see the Celtics beating the Bulls or Wizards, mainly because to me they are better teams.

I would have to go with the Wizards.. They just dont seem to play with the heart, the Celtics do. The Celtics have always matched up well with them.. Two great offensive teams with not so good defense, and luckily the Wizards defense is a little weaker than the Celtics!

My first choice would be the Cavs, because I think you can beat them the way you beat any team with no depth: let LeBron have a 60 point night and shut everyone else down. That's how the Celtics beat the Bulls years ago. Everyone talks about how MJ threw 63 on them in the playoffs, but the Bulls still lost that game.
After that I guess the Wizards would be the next best matchup, because we play the uptempo game better and have the better big men.
I really dont want to see the Pacers with Reggie, cause you know he wants to go out with a bang.

I hear that Eddy Curry is done for the year. Maybe I'll change my pick to Chicago.

No Curry, No Deng. Chicago will be limping into the playoffs.
