Former Steelers running back Jerome Bettis is now a television analyst, and on NFL Network he made a surprising prediction last week: He thinks his old coach, Bill Cowher, will coach the New York Giants next year.Cowher's arrival, of course, would mean that Tom Coughlin is coaching his final season for the Giants. I very much doubt that Cowher is interested in the NY job, especially when there's no telling what vacancies can open up over the course of a season. I would prefer him to go to Cleveland and try and bring them a title, but I don't want to jump to conclusions and assume that's what he's going to do.

NO reason to throw him out of town yet when hes done a decent job despite poor talent.I have no clue where cowher will go though.

Whether he's a good coach or not, he's on the hot seat and the fans are really getting pissed. Cowher can step in and bring fans back to the stadium knowing that he can turn that franchise around and get them to be championship contenders. But we'll see what happens, I doubt Cowher is really thinking about where he'll go when he returns. He's enjoying a long year off right now, it's what he needs.

I know because if that were true, we would have fired billick after our 6-10 season where phil went to the browns. I think Phil understands that his team is still rebuilding and even if they dont win over 6 games(which they might) he wont be out of town just yet.

They're both going to be gone if this team does not win games and does not show improvement. The Brian Billick situation is a completely different story, Ozzie Newsome witnessed Billick lead that team to the playoffs three or four times so he knew that letting him go would be a mistake. The Browns management has not seen them win nine games or more since 2002. Since then, they've gone 5-11, 4-12, 6-10 and 4-12. I guarantee Savage and Crennel are gone if they're below 6-10.
