Hawks point guard Mike Bibby is hoping to retain his starting job with the team.

Bibby has started all but four of his 882 career games in the NBA.

New coach Larry Drew plans to give young guard Jeff Teague a chance to crack the lineup, and perhaps even supplant Bibby as a starter.

"It is up to L.D." Bibby said. "I've started my whole life. I will see what they want to do. [But] I want to start, yeah."

Teague, the 19th overall pick in 2009, played sporadically for coach Mike Woodson last season.
