<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Bibby is 18 pounds lighter than he was in the postseason. He is down to 188 pounds, the lightest he has been since his college days at Arizona nine years ago.Bibby said he changed his diet as he continues to fatten up on his outlook of impact and improvement. He eliminated junk food and added more healthy eats, all while maintaining his zest to keep his body hard and toned with conditioning and weights. In short, Bibby wants to be quicker, more explosive -- and if there has been a knock on the man, it's that he hasn't been quick enough at first step. Bibby, who has a career average of 36.8 minutes per game, also seeks more stamina. He understands he will not become Tony Parker-quick, but he is making an offseason effort to keep up with the blur guards on the NBA circuit.</div> :beerchug: I hope he becomes a way better defender because of this.
Good news. I thought he was slow last year despite his stats. In the playoffs when San Antonio really focused on him he couldn't get open shots which killed his efficiency.
I love hearing good news about Bibby, I also heard he wants to retire as a Sacramento King, I love players who are loyal to their fans and their players. Bibby is one of the most underrated players in the league, I hope he has a fantastic season this year and finally gets to the all-star game.
Bad news for those of us who's team is in the west and who's PG is not one of the elite. I suddenly have alot of respect for him. Its always good to see players working hard and earning thier money. His d should improve drastically too - an early candidate for MIP??
Nah Bibby get s around 20ppg already, your defense could improve drastically but the NBA wont give you MIP if you are already scoring! but i love that wishful thinking!
