Florida belongs in title game. 0-4 right now in bowl games. Penn St. probably wont beat tennessee. making them 0-5. Thats how the big 10 got fat. Beating up on these overrated 2nd tier teams that would be 4th tier teams in SEC. It is very possible that going into the Title game, the conference will be 0-7 with wisconsin playing arkansas(very losable, ill take razorbacks) and michigan playing USC (USC is more talented for sure) That is why michigan deserves to wash my car more than play ohio state in title game.

I'm not really shocked to see the bad Big Ten teams losing right now. In fact I was shocked to see Iowa play well with Texas yesterday. Minnesota blowing that lead was shocking though To have a 28 point lead at half and to just pretty much stop playing is pretty sad.

I think what would work in Michigan's favor is if Ohio State blows out Florida, Wisconsin beats Arkansas, ND beating LSU and them of course UM need to beat USC. It all could happen but it all could go the other way as well. As far as I'm concern both Michigan and Florida are worthy and OU is the one with the real beef. They didn't even get a chance at the NT game and should of because they should've been 11-1 and a major conference champion as well. The refs literally gave Oregon that game twice.

I'm not. B10 is overrated. FWIW, The Gophers blew a 31 pt lead w/ a quarter and a half left. Rumor is; Mason was fired.

Wolverines beating OSU would have really worked out well in their favor, but they did not, so... I don't see OSU blowing Florida out. Until the 2 conferences matchups head to head, The SEC is the dominant conference so far.... Kentucky, for all intents a lower tier SEC, beat a Middle of the pack ACC team in Clemson. Georgia (2nd tier SEC) beat argubaly the premier ACC team (Va Tech). FWIW, I'll laugh if the Mtn West wins the bowl championship challenge.

If we had a D-1 playoff you'd likely see three Big Ten teams in it. The other 8 teams would be home for Chirstmas instead of losing meaningless bowl games.

IMO the Big Tens top are better than the SECs, but the SEC has more teams that are better...if that makes sense...

Easy to look good when you dont play anyone. the top 3 in big ten, only OSU beat anyone in that group. The other 2 are frauds and only got fat off over rated middle tier. You might see 3 in playoff, but 2 would be 1 and done.

All this shows is that there are too many bowl games. Minnesota was 6-7 this year. How does that even warrant a bowl game of any kind?

Plus I'd be bitter too if my contribution to the Big Ten conference was "Illinois." *shudder*

Find out tomorrow. Wisconsin plays Arkansas. Those are two top Big Ten and SEC teams. Ohio State plays Florida. If both win and Michigan beats USC then the Big Ten has 3 teams finishing in the top 5 this year.

Though it could go the other way as well. Monday is the test.

I remember Illinois being good @ one point in time... Its Indiana that is the bottom feeder in the B10 football.

I guess its suppose to bother me that illinois sucks in your mind. You would be better off ripping on Miami, it might get to me.

The Canes are a bunch of overhyped, underachieving thug wannabes who have camouflage envy.

    How's that for starters? LOL.

So do I. I never heard Miami referred to that way until Irvin mentioned it about 3 yrs ago. That has been the nickname for my alma mater as long as I can recall.

Un-ranked Penn State knocked off #17 Tennessee today... Finally! Signs of life out of the Big Ten!

Badgers knocked off Arkansas. Wasn't pretty, but a win's a win.

The top half of the Big Ten is proving exactly what I said and that's they are better than the top half of the SEC. Tennessee I thought was a tad overrated and I'm not a Erik Ainge fan but losing to Penn State is a blow especially when Penn State kind of had a re stocking year.

Wisconsin out coached Arkansas. They made the big plays through the air and they were way more disciplined.

If Michigan wins tonight and Ohio State beats Florida like most think then Big Ten could end up 1-2-3 in the polls to close out the year. For sure 3 out of the top 4 top ranked teams will be from the Big Ten. Michigan and Ohio State have to take care of business first.

Either way great year for the Badgers!! Hopefully they finally get some national respect after beating the SEC two years in a roll. 16 of 21 returning starters. Donovan looks promising at QB. I really like the coaching staff. Michigan and Wisconsin could be in a dog fight next year for the Big Ten.
