A recent conference call by the NCAA Division I Coaches Congress detailed rules regarding seniors and underclassmen, as well as alterations in the recruiting calendar, that will be put into place following an Oct. 27 meeting of the NCAA Leadership Council. An email obtained by ESPN outlines changes in the visitation process and recruiting calendar for high school juniors following Jan. 1 of their junior season. College basketball coaches will ask for the ability to host juniors on official visits after that time. The group is also looking to reintroduce the presence of college coaches at spring AAU and travel team events by adding evaluation opportunities during April.
