<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Pasquarelli)</div><div class='quotemain'>In a little over a quarter -- and after having just two full practices last week with his new team -- Wilkinson recorded three tackles, 1? sacks and two quarterback pressures.</div>
I wonder if Saban & Capers have thought about using Wilkinson & Traylor @ the same time. Imagine what Zach could w/ that kind of "protection" Further, picture the Dolphins using a 46/Bear front i.e Big daddy, K Carter & Traylor over the center & 2 guards.

As for that other notable Detrot castoff, Harrington did not do as well statistically. There were no fumbles. JH, as I understand, is becoming less skittish in the pocket and not as hard on himself when he does mess up.

FWIW, Daunte got wacked three times real hard and got up each time w/o any reason for concern. He does limp when he walks but playing he's fine.

Wilkinson's release still confuses me. Then again, so does most of what Matt Millen does.

Gotta agree with you there. I thought no one gave Favre more trouble then the Wilkenson Shaun Rodgers duo. As bad as the Lions were I always worried about those 2 guys winnning the game for them

I got a chance to watch the game, and Wilkinson did provide a serious push up the middle....I thought Harrington looked great....the knock I always heard about him was that he dumps everything off to backs but I watch a guy that was throwing the ball down the field with a lot of zip and accuracy....I can see why someone would draft him as high as they did....I looked good in the pocket and demonstrated a very strong arm....

I wish GB went after him for a 1 year stint. Wilerson and Pickett in the middle would make me feel better about the run D.

As I recall (& perhaps Zack can confirm this), Wilkinson's release was more of Marinelli's decision.

I had heard and still see the same criticism of him on a phins only message board. You would think that someone who relied in dumping the ball off to RB's would excel in a WCO.

Though, I've said the reason for Harrington's problem in Detroit both w/ Martz and prior was that JH is not suited for a timing offense.

Maybe alot of the knock on the former Univ of Oregon QB's is because the Ducks play a more vertical attacking offensive style and they end up w/ a WCO team. AJ Feeley is the exception. He is now 3rd on the Chargers depth chart.
