uconn topped notre dame, as i expected!! that first loss was just so depressing. i'm really disappointed in chris thomas this season as well. he seems like such a flop compared to what him and the irish did last season. i would like some more competition.. 6 pts this afternoon doesn't cut it.

mcnamara hit a sweet buzzer beater to defeat georgetown today.

providence beat miami.. i dont know if darius rice is back yet, i haven't checked the box score, but i know last wednesday he wasn't playing vs. uconn. providence is very surprising this season. gomes has all them on his back.

seton hall squeaked by villanova and pitt sneeked past west virginia.. who i wish would've beaten pitt! damn them.

I watched UConn for the first time today and I gotta say I was impressed. Emeka Okafor is simply a freak... 22 rebounds and 10 blocks are you kidding me?! I knew he was good from all the reviews but seeing him dominate the post today made me a believer.

I also got to catch the end of the 'Cuse game and McNamara has 1 sweet shot.

okafor should get even more touches on the ball, he dominates, so much athleticism. and mcnamara is a baller, and warrick is too, but warrick has a kinda nasty shot. he can get by people and dunk, but he tries to do fadeaways and they're ugggggly.

well that wasn't really his statline.. i've actually seen games when he DID have 10 blocks. [IMG] [IMG]

14 pts, 22 boards, 7 blocks.. an awful shooting night for uconn, just awful. god bless defense and out rebounding your opponent by THIRTY. ;0

I wouldn't call it a big day in the Big East. There were no upsets. Providence, Connecticut, Syracuse, and Seton Hall were all supposed to beat their opponents. The Mid-American conference had a bigger day.

yeah you're right. i should've phrased it better.. big day more so along the lines of games being rather close, and important.
