For us Sixers fan I don't think it's the biggest secret that most if not all of our big men have got a bad case of the injury bug.

<ul>Chris Webber is out with a right quad strain. However he has healed a considerable amount and is in condition to play but sitting out for precautions reasons. His knee despite the rehabilitation is still not in the best condition so adding another injury even if it?s minor isn?t too good.
<ul>Samuel Dalembert is also suffering from a right quad strain as well. Unlike Chris Webber, Dalembert is still disabled and not condition to play. So the timetable for his return is still in question.
<ul>Shalvik Randolph the un-drafted rookie that was projected to be Webber is back up it out till God knows when with an left foot fracture.
<ul>Michael Bradley who wasn't expected to have much of a role on the team surprisingly opened eyes and was basically set to be a key contributor off the bench, but just our luck he ended up having surgery and he too will be out for quite some team.
<ul>And this guy is definitely not a big man, but he certainly plays like a "big" man has gone down with an injury himself. None other than A.I is suffering from a knee sprain and is listed day-to-day. It's bad enough that he admittedly said he didn't really work on his game at all during the summer but the fact that he still haven't worked off that rust and now in addition sustained an injury makes matters worse. I think he will eventually be fine, but at the same time you can't ignore this.
So how well we fare with these injuries? We have yet to have our starting five play an exhibition game yet. So the way our team looks is still up in the air and remember the season opener is right around the corner. Once the calendar reads October 20(3 more day), the season will begin in no time. Our only big men are Hunter, Thomas a player that isn't really expected to make the team and an unproven player in Deng Gai who has been impressive nonetheless, but still.

Us fans can't really complain because like said before imagine having these guys out during the preseason, compared to a key stretch with for instance a playoff seed on the line. If any players is going to suffer from injruy let it be now and not during critical times in the regular season. On the other hand Philly's injruy problems could hurt chemistry some. Because like you said Avery they haven't played with their suppposed starting five yet, so that can definitely cause some concern. With that being said it may actually take the Sixers longer during the regular season to develop chemsitry sense key players missed training camp and pre season. This can also open your eyes to what may happen if one of the 76ers big men would get injured. We all know Chris (god forbid) is liable to get injured, and Dalembert has had major injruy problems in the past as well. Basically the 76ers are not a deep front court team, we just have to hope for the best that the bigman we have can stay healthy. If not then some of the younger guys are going to have to step it up, and that can be a lot to ask for a couple of undrafted players.
