Courtesy of NetsDaily: <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Thursday’s win in Miami wasn’t Josh Boone’s best game statistically, but considering the size of the opponent, it was a key game in his development. And when you look back on his performance against the Heat a year ago, this one is a nice indicator of how far he has come. As for the injury update: Antoine Wright will definitely be out Saturday against the Warriors, but Boki Nachbar may return to action.</div> In the Holiday Spirit - Al Iannazzone - In the 'Zzone Shaq Stopper - Dave D'Alessandro - Nets Blast No Antoine, Maybe Boki For G. State - Fred Kerber - Nets Chat Surprise: Nets' youngsters making a contribution - Al Iannazzone - YES Network Congrats to Boone. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>So Wright is out tomorrow against the Warriors with the sprained right ankle suffered against the Heat, an injury that had him in a walking boot and on crutches at last sighting in Miami. "It's pretty bad but it didn't swell so that's pretty good," Wright said. "It really hurts...I think after ice and a little treatment I'll be back sooner than expected."</div> Blah. Couldn't have come at a better time! I say we need to sign someone, fast. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>So maybe Bostjan Nachbar comes back. But don't holds the breath. He thought he would have been back by now. Instead, he missed games against the Knicks, Kings and Heat. "I couldn't sprint or jump," Nachbar said of his last test, on Thursday. "You kind of need that for basketball. "First, we thought MAYBE I'd sit out (last) Saturday. Then MAYBE I'd sit out Tuesday. Then MAYBE Miami. If you're asking me if I'd playing Saturday, yeah, I think I'm playing Saturday but we won't know until Saturday to be totally honest," Nachbar said. So whatcha gonna do, Lawrence Frank, if both Wright and Nachbar are out? "We're going to have to go with different combinations," Frank said, indicating you should expect to see more of Marcus Williams and Darrell Armstrong.</div> Dammit. I don't like Marcus and DA together. It just doesn't seem to work. Then again, it might vs. GS. If there's one team going against that I wouldn't mind having Wright and Boki out, it'd prolly be GS.
It looks like our bench will be Malik Allen and no one else. If Boki was playing like crap before he got injured he's surely not coming in and dropping buckets on the Warriors.
