    With quick-strike explosiveness on offense and constant, hounding pressure on defense, the Bloomington Extreme built a 26-point halftime lead Saturday.

    A shaky second half left the door open as the visiting Richmond Revolution threatened to get within a touchdown late in the game.

    Ke’Andre Sams slammed it shut.

    Sams stuffed Richmond quarterback Monte Pervis on a crucial fourth-down run in Bloomington territory and the Extreme held on for a 53-40 Indoor Football League win before a U.S. Cellular Coliseum crowd of 4,569.
