I was just thinking about something that happened 2 years ago I believe and it made me think that this could possibly be the biggest screw up in NFL history. The New Orleans Saints need to win this game in order to get to the playoffs. Carolina just kicked a FG with a few seconds left to put them ahead by 7 points. So everyones counting the Saints out because how often do u see all the laterals and crap work. Well it happened, they do a bunch of laterals to get them into the endzone and there's no flags anywhere! Saints have this one locked up and ready to fight in Overtime, right? NOO!! Carney misses the extra point. I was watching this game live and couldn't believe it. What do u guys think?
how bout a long ass time ago, one player recovered a fumble and ran it back the other way for a safety.. IDIOTi could look up the names if i really wanted, but i'm way too tired right now

How about Scott Norwood missing that 47 yard feildgoal at the end of Superbowl XXV? Hahah they made fun of it in Ace Ventura & in some other movie where this guy who just got out of prison goes after some dude named "Scott Wood" who ruined his life by missing a Superbowl winning feildgoalDoes "WIDE RIGHT" ring a bell?Also--what about Kevin Dyson coming up a YARD short of victory vs. the Rams in Superbowl XXXIV? I donno if thats a screw up, but that still sucks. He's always gotta think, "Could I have exerted a little more effort on that last play to get that one extra yard?" you never know

In the 1984 season the Miami Dolphins actually played in Super Bowl XIX with Dan Marino as their quarterback but they were defeated 38-16 by the San Francisco 49ers"And I wouldnt call Kevin Dyson a screw-up, cause he extended about as far as he could. Instead I would put that on McNair for throwing over the middle of the field not in the endzone yet.
