Out of the lower seeds in the NBA Playoff race, which team do you think is poised to pull of the biggest upset if any? Granted the fact that we may most likely not see any MAJOR upset in the first round but at the same time anything is possible, just ask Gary Payton. So what's your pick on which lower seed you believe has the best chance at upsetting a #1/2 seed. Is it... Playoff Matchup (...If Playoffs started today) West Memphis over Phoniex or Denver over San Antonio East Philadelphia over Detroit or New Jersey over Miami -- Also tell which team you think would have less likely the chance of pulling off an upset.
I agree with west match ups you put there... Denver has been the best team since allstar and memphis 2-2 on the season with phoenix, not sure tho... In the east Philly will get swept by Detroit unless iverson and webber find the way to play together, NJN are too small up front, they can't do nothing against Miami
I was kinda hoping that Philadelphia would end up in 8th seed all along. Why? So we don`t have to face and Detroits suffocating defense in the first round. Were 1-4 against them during the regular season and the way they are playing now, I don`t think it would get any easier. I don`t think NJ really has a chance against Miami with just that backcourt of Kidd and Carter... As we all know the way the Nuggets have been playing they could beat anybody, so they have a chance of pulling off some big upsets... The Grizz and Suns series during the season were tied so things could happen in that first series also.
