Out of this years draft class who do you guys think has the biggest potential upside (A player that not much people talk about, not the Odens and Durants that are ovbious), and who has the biggest potential bust factor?Upside - Al Horford. He really has the makings of a dominant big man. He has a big body, and is a force down low.Bust - Horfords teammate, Joakim Noah. I think Noah is more of a college player. Even if he isnt a bust, he will be a role player at best.

Busts: Hasheem ThabeetI'm starting to think that Roy Hibbert could be a bust. I do not think he will adjust to the NBA life so smoothly. He won't always be the biggest guy on the court.

I think Hibbert will transfer. He's alot like Dwight Howard when he first came into the league, all he needs to do is put on some weight.

Even if he isnt that, if he dosent get hurt, he will be a solid NBA player.

potential - greg oden - he may be about 50% of what he will be someday bust - roy hibbert - it was so evident in the final four how uncoordinated he is. he fumbles the ball, barely can catch it with pressure, and he is not even very athletic

First off, on Roy Hibbert, it depends. I am a giant Georgetown fan, I love Hibbert, but people are grossly overrating him right now. Some people have him in the top 5, top 7... I think if he goes that high he WILL be considered a bust. I think he should fall in the 8-15 range, somewhere around there. If he goes early lotto, he will disappoint. I think he'll be a serviceable starter, much like Big Z, but not much more.

    Potential: Brandan Wright
Wright has the 3rd post potential in this draft class. He's extremely athletic, he's long, he can finish, he's very agile and can run the floor for a big, he will learn and become a better defender/shot blocker, and I think he'll be a very solid rebounder. He's thin right now, he needs to get bigger, but he's definitely got a ton of potential.

    Bust: Hasheem Thabeet
I actually call him Hasheem ThaBust. He would be making a HORRIBLE mistake (for his career) if he comes out this year. He is the rawest talent in the draft, he has way too much to work on, and he never plays with any amount of enthusiasm. It's tough to completely shut him down for possibly coming out, because he really has to take care of his mother financially, but if he stayed in school for 2-3 years, it would benefit him tremendously (especially under an excellent coach/teacher like Jim Calhoun).

I'm gonna be different..not trying to copy what others say and go with..Potential - Yi JianLian...from what I have seen he is a very good player and has all the talent needed to play in the NBA and be an all-star but I really don't know because of the lack of competition in China (God Shammgod says the china basketball association is the worst basketball experience he has ever had) his game may not translate to the NBA..BUT he has very good post moves and yeah he is 7 feet guysBust - Hasheem Thabeet..he just doesn't seem dedicated to the game and I don't think he has been playing basketball long..much like Michael Olowokandi because of his size he has LOTS of potential but he is just very lazy and doesn't seem like he cares about the game..he's a lottery pick based off raw talent and potential..he averaged 6-6 at 7'3''..he just isn't very good and will fail in the NBA..he may get by because he is actually pretty solid on D but will never be the player he's expected to be at 7'3''

Potential- Brandan WrightBust- Joakim Noah I really don't see Noah as anything more than a role player/ energy guy in the NBA. His game just doesn't impress me much at all. I would have went with Thabeet as the bust, but he announced that he is returning to UConn for his sophomore year.
