The Reno Bighorns jumped out to a 30-10 first-quarter lead and never trailed, defeating the Maine Red Claws 111-102 Wednesday afternoon at the NBA Development League Showcase in the South Padre Island Convention Centre.

The Bighorns led by as many as 24 points before Maine cut the lead to five midway through the fourth quarter. The 'Horns would answer with a quick 6-0 run and coast to the victory in their first game of the 2011 D-League Showcase.

Reno shot 54.3 percent from the field on the afternoon, including 43.5 percent from the three-point range. All five Bighorns starters scored in double figures, led by a 29-point effort by Marcus Landry. NBA assignee Jeremy Lin chipped in with 21 points, seven rebounds and six assists, while Anthony Richardson (13 points, 10 rebounds) and Donald Sloan (15 points, 10 assists) each notched double-doubles for the 'Horns.

Paul Harris led Maine with 21 points and 10 rebounds off the bench. Jamar Smith added four three-pointers and 16 points for the Red Claws before fouling out.
