"Left-hander Bill Bray is getting close to returning. Bray threw 12/3 innings of perfect ball for Single-A Dayton Monday night. He's scheduled to throw for Triple-A Louisville Thursday and Friday. "I feel close," Bray said. "(Monday night) was good for me to get out there and go one-plus. I feel close. I want to keep locking in on the strike zone." Bray has been on the disabled list since April 24. A strained groin landed him there, but then his back began troubling him. "I made some subconscious changes in my delivery," he said. "That led to the back problems. They were separate but related. The mechanical changes caused the back problems. By the time we figured it out, it was almost too late. We fixed that problem, then I wrenched my back again. I took six days off. Once I started throwing again, it's gone well.""
