Bill Simmons discusses Vince situation I know there's a surplus amount of threads being made here at this particular time, but I found this article interesting and somewhat funny. After reading this I was further convinced that we need to see Vince shipped out of here ASAP. Simmons, who attended the Raps@Clips game, comments on Carters on-court behaviour and how it was a negative influence on the rest of the team. I'm sorry Vince fans, but the man is a joke. Talent-wise he's up there with the best of them. I realize that a lot of haters dont actually realize how good he is, but at the same time he isn't getting it done. Portland is constantly trying to change their image, but they aren't changing it to a much better one. The bring in NVE who is notorious for having a bad attitude. Now Vince? He will conflict with Randolph from the start because both are franchise players.
Simmons is the best (and funniest) writer in basketball, and he is spot on the money with this one too. Vince Carter is a cancer.
