Jody is smart. Let’s see if Phil Knight was really about that life and offers the 3-3.5B that would most likely get it done..

Honestly Jody isn’t that bad. She’s very supportive of the team, always at the games, lets the experts do their thing. She isn’t that bad

I'm actually pretty cool with us never selling the team in my lifetime. I don't need any chance of them moving. Never a guarantee that it stays when somebody new takes over.

You think the team gets moved if the it is bought by the rumored Phil Knight group?

I figured this thread would say Elon Musk is stepping down as Twitter CEO to buy the Suns, but then, he might not be a billionaire much longer, at his current rate.

your kidding me right? Dude is born and raised in Portland. Has his world headquarters in Oregon where he could have rooted it anywhere in the country. And of course you know what he does for his alma mater. So I HIGHLY doubt Phil Knight would buy the Blazers to just move them out of his hometown.. Come on Fam!!

So i looked up real quick on how much Mat Ishbia is worth?
This is kind of a gamble on his part.
It says he is only worth just under 5 billon. I know that is still an incredible amount of money but that seems like a huge percentage of his overall net worth.

He would probably require players to purchase a blue check-mark on their jerseys to be able to enter a game.

Oh I see they are selling for $4 B now! Wow! That seems a little out of Ishbia's range to me. That's Phil Knight money right there!

He is most likely the majority owner, his brother is in the deal as well and will be the alternate governor. There is likely there will be other investor as well. He probably will own less than half on his own and has majority ownership combine with his brother's stake.
