Buffalo will be featured on today's Sportscenter during their draft preview segment. It should be interesting to see who Mel Kiper thinks the Bills will draft. Personally, I think we have to go with Patrick Willis.

The Bills have alot of holes to fill on the team, and in the cover 2 scheme it isnt as vital to have a standout corner. The Bills are extremely high on last years 3rd round pick Ashton Youboty. If you remember Youboty was originally thought of as a mid to late first round pick. He already has a year in the scheme and should be able to step in for the 80 million dollar man.In my honest opinion I think the Bills will take Willis if he is there, if not its a crapshoot and we might trade back. If the Bills dont land Turner HB is a possibility here as well. (Marshawn Lynch). What I would really like to see happen is the Bills draft Willis at 12 and use our 2nd rounder and the Ravens 3rd rounder (Again if no Turner) and maybe a pick next season if needed to move back up into the first round and grab Lynch if he falls far enough. If not look for the Bills to use their 2nd round on a halfback (Pittman, Hunt, etc)

Willis could be an immediate impact for our D. He would be our leader for years to come. Crowell shifts to the strongside linebacker, second-year Ellison moves to the weakside and Willis is in the middle. We pick up a RB in the second, grab a CB such as Jonathan Wade in the 3rd with maybe another LB in the third. The second day we just add depth for certain positions such as QB, WR, OL, DL and LB

The Bills definately have 3 major needs opened up in Runningback, Linebacker, and Cornerback with their offseason losses, and couldn't go wrong addressing any of them (Well, assumeing they don't reach 15 picks on someone again )
I dont think at this point you can critisize their draft last year, Whitner played better than anyone expected and started in all 16 games and their 4th round pick (Ko Simpson) was solid as well. Whitner may have been a reach at the time but atleast he has panned out sofar. Unlike some of those beautiful Jets 1st round selections
NFLDraftCountdown has them taking Marshawn Lynch.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Look for this pick to be a seesaw battle between Marshawn Lynch and Leon Hall right up until Draft Day. At this point word is the team has taking a liking to Lynch which is why he gets the nod over Hall but by just a hair. After trading away Willis McGahee the Bills have a gaping hole at running back to they would be fortunate to land one of the top prospects who have separated themselves from the pack in this draft at that position. Similar in some ways to Laurence Maroney, Lynch has very good size, is multi-dimensional and he's also a legitimate big play threat. As I said though cornerback is also a major concern for them after losing Nate Clements as a free agent so this could just as easily be Leon Hall. The Bills are also looking to improve their run defense so Patrick Willis could be an option to replace London Fletcher but it's still too soon to give up on all of the defensive tackles like John McCargo, Larry Tripplett and Kyle Williams they brought in just last offseason, although Amobi Okoye could prove to be extraordinarily intriguing.</div>http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/sub/mockdraft.htmlPersonally, if I were the Bills owner, and I saw Leon Hall on the draft board, I'd take him.

Unlike some of those beautiful Jets 1st round selections </div>Yeah, Whitner looked pretty good, but their reach on McCargo hasn't exactly shown the same rewards. What makes it worse is considering that McCargo would have been available at the Bills Second Rounder, so a trade up to reach on him was completely unneccassary. Granted, he was injured for most of the year so it's really too soon to tell, but he wasn't very productive even when he was on the field. As for the Jets First Rounders, Mangold played at a Pro-Bowl level, and will probably be playing in that game as soon as next year, and once D'Brick is able to keep his weight on for an entire season and not drop down to 280 like he did last year (And even at 280 he was pretty good), he will be great as well. As for before that, it was a different regime, so I have to think those bad draft picks (Especially just about every First Rounder from 1980-1995), are a thing of the past.
