I know this is the smack talk forum but I'm going to keep this pretty tame. With the Bills coming in and beating the Dolphins at home, it is hard to see them dominating the AFC East like so very many people claim. Everywhere I look I see NFL gurus saying that the Dolphins will easily take the AFC East this season and I wonder why they say this. Thoughts?

Bakes claimed that the talking heads at ESPN were all picking the Dolphins to win the AFC East, but when I found a page at ESPN, the experts picked the Pats 10-2 to win the division. What the hell is wrong with the Dolphins, I was expecting them to be decent this season. What's going on!?

To a patriots fan anything less than 100% respect is a slap in the face, and if they give you 1% respect you should thank them for the token appreciation, and the joy of being in thier presence. I still think dolphins will win division. I think they are better team, they play em twice so they can make up the margin.
Its just a rough start, I have full beleif that culpepper is shaking of the rust. Once him and chambers start connecting it will be game over. The Jets gave you guys a nice scare there, dont count them out either! Ad teh bils are 1-1 looks interesting thus far!

I've been hearing it a lot, not necessarily seeing it. I'll look for some analyst pics back before the season started to see but I have HEARD a lot of Dolphins praise anywhere from CBS to NFL Network.

You don't seem to have any support for your argument, so your trying to discredit BF1 by accusing him of crying. Why can't you leave the insults alone for a minute and try winning this debate by offering some evidence to support your argument?
All I heard down this way, is how the Dolphin's are the big push that's finally going to knock the Pats off, however until they get something done in their secondary, Im not sure if they're going to be able to make it to 2nd in the division, especially with how tough the Jets looked yesterday. Everyone now think C-Pepps a bust after TWO games, i mean this guy was a savior when acquired now all I hear down here is, PUT IN HARRINGTON, My gosh be careful what you wish for! Pepp although i am not a fan of his in any aspect, is much better than anything the dolphins have had the last 5 or so years, IMO The Dolphins biggest problems are the secondary,I don't know what the hecks going on back there but it don't look pretty.

It is posts like this that I've been seeing since May or so of this year that I'm talking about. Do you watch NFL Network's Total Access? If so, you would see that several people on the show picked Miami without hesitation before the season began. I don't know how they feel now though. http://www.profootballnet.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=3091 http://www.topix.net/content/trb/085338245...375832800384635 http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/5...on_winners.html http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/5...006_season.html http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/5...ast.html?page=2 Those are just a few articles that seem to really like the Dolphins this year. I wonder how the writers feel now?

They didn't even know what the rosters would end up looking like. It was absurd to include this link. Besides the fact that most of the thread is made up of posts telling the OP that he's wrong. 2. The second link is from the Sun-Sentinel, a newpaper in Orlando. Out of six writers, two had 12 wins and 2 had eleven plus going to the playoffs, but I only saw one writer say that the Dolphins would win the AFC East and he said that it would be off a tiebreaker. This hardly supports your argument and if your going to be fair then you need to include as many papers from the New England area or other areas that have no regional prejudice. Picking a paper that has a page devoted to the Dolphins and not getting any more evidence that what you did supports my side of the argument. Thanks. 3. Grant Fellows called the Dolphins the sexy pick and the Patriots the reliable one. That sounds like a slam against the Dolphins to me. Fellows never said the Dolphins would win the AFC East. He said that if Culpepper regains form and the secondary plays well that the Dolphins should make the playoffs. Then, he said that if the Pats were healthy they should contend for the Championship and I have to assume he meant World Championship. 4. Gene Michaels said that the Pats would be severly challanged by the Dolphins but never said that the Dolphins would win the division. 5. Christopher Murray said that IF Culpepper could regain form and the secondary played well that the Dolphins could win 11 or 12 games and supplant New England. So, he had the Dolphins with a big IF. After reading all those links, I found two guys that picked the Dolphins to win the AFC East. Do you need me to read anymore articles to you?
