<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Bills explore options with Clements, MouldsAssociated Pressclick thisORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- Free agent cornerback Nate Clements' future with the Bills is still uncertain, but the team is hopeful he will remain in Buffalo.General manager Marv Levy said Monday that the Bills would like to keep Clements, who will be free to negotiate with any team beginning on March 1."We will make every effort to retain him," Levy said. "We would like to have him back, and I know (coach) Dick Jauron has expressed the same. I think he's a talented player who can get better, and that's good news, not bad news."Clements, Buffalo's first-round pick in 2001, is seeking a contract that could include a signing bonus of over $10 million, an amount that may be too rich for the Bills. To help combat that, the team could slap the franchise tag on him, which would cost $5.89 million for one season. The deadline to designate a franchise player is next Thursday."That is definitely an option in his situation," Levy said. "If we use it, he's the likely person we will use it on, then hope we can do a contract that goes beyond that."Clements' play slipped last season. Coming off a year in which he tied a career-high with six interceptions, Clements picked off only two passes in 2005, as the Bills defense plummeted from No. 2 in 2004 to 29th.Over the past five seasons, Clements has accumulated 20 interceptions and has reached the end zone six times, including two punt returns for scores.A call to Clements' agent was not returned. The Bills also are evaluating their options with receiver Eric Moulds. The 10-year veteran is scheduled to make $7.1 million in salary next season and would count about $11 million toward the salary cap.If the team chooses to release Moulds in March, the cap savings would amount to roughly $5.5 million.Moulds finished with 81 catches for 816 yards and four touchdowns. His 10.1 yard average tied his career low set in 1997 and marked the seventh straight year he declined in that category. He also was suspended for one game for conduct detrimental to the team after a loss in Miami in which the Bills blew a 21-point lead."I know Eric had an unsettling season last year," Levy said. "We hope we can work something out so he can be here. Restructuring is possible."Jauron said he hasn't talked to Moulds yet but hopes to within the coming weeks."He's a high-quality player and clearly has had a lot of years of high-level play," Jauron said. "He's been an integral part of (the team) for a long time."The Bills' other top free agents include center Trey Teague and defensive tackle Ron Edwards. Teague, 31, has started at center the past four years, but the Bills drafted Duke Preston in April and could hand the job over to him.Edwards, 26, started the first four games before his season was cut short because of a shoulder injury. He took over for Pat Williams, who signed with Minnesota as a free agent prior to this year.Levy said that he has personally talked with all of the Bills' current free agents.</div>http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2329674

Clements is a STUD! He needs to find a new home. It's southwest of Buffalo. And there's a HUGE Arch right outside the stadium. Can anyone guess where?

Well we franchised Nate, we all know that.As for Moulds, sadly, I think we're going to cut him because his salary is just too high. [IMG]
