I don't think Chauncy for Steve is quite an equal trade.

I would like to see them go after Rahseed instead of swapping guards.

    Pointless trade for both teams.

Chauncey's a fan favorite, and he's worked really hard and done a great job for this team. He gets along well with his teammates and his coach; there is no reason to trade him.

No need to trade Billups. If anything get rid of Hamilton. :P I like the core of the team and I don't see a need to change it. We are in a slump, but everybody goes through slumps. Francis is a good player, but I'd rather keep Billups. Billups has no character issues or personal problems with anybody and that is why he is a fan favorite.

this time of year, big names always get thrown around.

i'm losing faith that there will be a big deal for the Pistons. Maybe a small trade to free up cap space, but that's it.

Rasheed and his agent has made it clear that he wants to play in New York.

Francis is exactly what the Pistons are missing. That's whats keeping them away from being in the NBA Finals.

That is correct, you won't make a difference and likely never will.

It is just that at some points, I don't like Rip's style/personality. He keeps jacking up shots, even if he isn't making any. Francis wouldn't help the Pistons much, if it all. His turnovers could cause some turmoil and it would be interesting to see if he would fit into Larry Brown's system.

This trade isn't going to happen though. Dumars will leave the core as it is unless something extraordinary comes along.
