NBA.com's Chatshttp://www.nba.com/sixers/news/billy_king_...ipt_060518.htmlIs there any specific position that you are trying to improve or any specific free agents that you are intrested in adding to the Sixers for next season?Billy King: I'd like to add another athletic swingman.I don't really know what's the point, i mean we do have Iguadala. But are their any swingmen that are going to be free agents this summer?

There are other swingmen, but we won't get any of them because we can only offer the MLE, and we won't get a very good swingman out of that.I think the first order of business this offseason is to FIRE BILLY KING.

I thought they already had an athletic swingman. I thought he went by the name Andre Iguodla. If they cant get Andre involved in the offense, what makes them think another athletic swingman would do any help? I just dont get it. They should go after a big that can actually play, not Samuel Dalembert and Steven Hunter.

Exactly. Allen Iverson should stay a 76er, and he should make Andre Iguodala in to a better shooter. He is already solid. He is a great finisher. All he needs now, is to work on his finishing. Chris Webber is fine, but if they can trade him to get a younger, talented center, they should go with it. And youre right Billy King needs his ass outta Philly.

Dont they already have Andre Iguodala? They are looking pretty good. They just need to get rid of one of the big contracts. AI and/or Chris Webber are dogging their team with their huge contracts.

They want to add another athletic swingman next to Iguodala, and I have been wanting that to happen for some time now. We want to be better prepared and match-up better against the teams that have two athletic swingmen. You don't know how horrible it is to watch Iguodala guard one guy, and then the other guy is basically scoring at will on either Korver, Salmons or Barnes.

Its samuel dalemburt. he got like a 7 year 60 mil. contract. thats rediculious for someone at his skill level.

If he is able to play like that consistently, I am more than happy with the contract, but so far he hasn't been able to do that on a consistent basis. But then again, Billy has a history of vastly overpaying role players. See Greg Buckner, Aaron McKie, Eric Snow, George Lynch (I think), Kenny Thomas (although I liked him), Brian Skinner... the list goes on and on.

They shouldve just made it like 2 or 3 years. Even if he does end up playing like he did in the Detroit series, he still doesnt deserve that kind of money. There paying him nearly what yuo would pay a superstar and I dont think Billy King couldve expected dalemburt to become as good as a superstar.

They were going to offer him a MAX contract, and knowing the stupidity of one Billy King, he probably would have matched that.

Your comments on Billy King really give me a good laugh. What Philly really needs to add is defense which is what they thought what they were getting out of Dalembert.A back up swingman wouldn't hurt either, although I wouldn't like to see minutes taken away from Iggy.

If we somehow manage to get another decent swingman, I'm sure he would eat more into Korver's minutes than Iguodala's. Barnes was decent, but he rarely got any playing time. He hustled and went all-out whenever he was in the game, and he would be a nice player to keep for a cheap price.

I think Billy King is a joke. He needs to be fired before he makes this team any worse. We need D, and rebounding. He had a chance to get Artest for very little when he was on the block with his problems with the Pacers. As long as he did not give up the 2 AI's anything else I would have traded for Artest. We could have had him for very little. I am sure Sammy, Korver, and a 1st round pick could have gotten him. But he thought Artest was going to be like TO for the Eagles so he did not wanna take a chance. Well guess what first I am sure he would not be like TO, but even if he was who cares if he produced on the court. I mean Artest paired with Iggy on D wow that would have made our D so much better. The guy can also score, rebound, get steals, and set other guys up. I am still mad about not getting Artest when we had the chance to get him for very little. LOL
