Binghamton wins AHL's Calder Cup

    Ryan Keller scored a tiebreaking power-play goal at 9:09 of the third period, Robin Lehner stopped 33 shots and the Binghamton Senators won their first American Hockey League championship with a 3-2 victory against the Houston Aeros in Game 6 of the Calder Cup on Tuesday night.

    Lehner, a 19-year old rookie who spent time with the NHL's Ottawa Senators during the regular season, was presented with the Jack A. Butterfield Trophy given to the AHL's postseason MVP.

    Bobby Butler tied the game at 2 for Binghamton at 3:26 in the third with a power-play goal against Houston goalie Matt Hackett, who finished with 24 saves.

    Congrats, the Ottawa Senators must be proud. They have some good talent down in Binghamton.
