I'm liking the idea of being above the clouds, it's a fresh new start in the series. I think the reason BioShock 2 failed was because it continued with the same idea as the original. Looks really good though, can't wait. Different developers too I guess.
I skipped BS2 figuring it would be more of the same... dunno if they are going to incorporate platforming with this new setting, that might be fun. Otherwise it's just a face-lift on the original.
Worst fucking fear right there.. Falling, like that. I don't like it.. But the trailer looked badass... But why call it Bioshock?
I don't think they'll ever change the name, like Grand Theft Auto for example, no matter where they go it's same shit, just adding a city to it. Infinite will be a massive game.
By the way, video is dead, found another.
Looks really good, I'll be anxious for this one. Hopefully they do some new stuff with it. As for Bioshock 2, I'd hardly call the game a failure. It was a phenomenal game, the gameplay was significantly improved from the original with the ability to duel-wield your plasmid and guns. The story wasn't as good, but it was still well told and solid story.
Do we know who the protagonist will be? Since it's a prequel, I'm wondering if we'll be playing as Jack again?
Seeing as how Jack wasn't introduced until the events of the first one, I doubt it. He'd be completely powerless and it'd be rather pointless to have him as the protagonist. I'm personally more interested in the antagonist of the game, since it won't be Andrew Ryan, nor will it have anything to do with him (at least I assume). I also want to hear about how they made the sky city, that's of large interest to me.
2012...and yes, I'm mainly curious as to how the city got in the sky and why they chose to built it there.
