While talking to The Denver Post Wednesday about Carmelo Anthony's situation, Kenyon Martin revealed that he and Chris Andersen will miss the start of the 2010-11 season. "I'm probably going to miss some of the season," said Martin. But just how long? Martin was non-specific on a timetable, but a team source speaking to the paper said Martin and Andersen could miss "significant time" to start the season as they recover from knee surgeries. If that's the case, Al Harrington, who was signed in the offseason, could see a lot of minutes in the frontcourt to start the season. Shelden Williams, whom the team also signed this offseason, might also get more than the 11 minutes a game he saw last season for the C's. If the Nuggets end up trading Anthony, they could seek a big body or two to shore up depth concerns up front if Martin and Andersen end up missing a good chunk of the beginning of the season.
